Why we Started Thrive
Two parents (Sharad and Shilpa) grew concerned as kids, including their own, became glued to screens. A friend’s daughter’s struggle with depression highlighted technology’s impact on emotional health.
In 2021, while working on sustainable electronics, they decided to act—to help families reconnect and give kids healthier digital habits.
With experience at Microsoft and Amazon and active PTSA involvement, they combined their expertise and love for kids to create Teracube Thrive—a smartphone designed by parents, for families, to foster connections and balance in the digital age.
